Windows 7 RC Downlod available soon

As expected, Microsoft has announced the coming availability of Windows 7 downloads.

According to the Windows 7 official site, the RC downloads will be available from May 5 to July, 2009.

The downloads will be available to MSDN and TechNet subscribers at the said website.

New features in the RC include Remote Media Streaming, Windows XP Mode (beta), and the upcoming beta release of the Windows Upgrade Advisor for Windows 7. A number of interface and performance enhancements based on feedbacks from the beta testers have also been added, including refined navigation, Windows Internet Explorer 8, and Windows Touch.

A Quick Spin of Windows 7

Being a proud partner (and loyal reader myself) of Coolbuster and Partners, I was able to get my hands on the installation guide of Windows 7. With my zealous aptitude towards new things, I tried to follow the guide and install Seven on my PC (which isn’t really new). I was surprised to see how well it worked out.

Firefox 3.1 – Damn, It’s Fast

I just downloaded the latest Firefox BETA – 3.1, and I’ll have to say: It’s fast.

If I was impressed on the speed of Google Chrome as a startup, today I am officially more impressed on the speed of the second milestone of the third version of Firefox.
